From the moment they walked into our home they treated us as family. Even though our need for hospice was short, we gained new friends in our journey. Annie W. is a wonderful nurse, she listened to my husband's wishes, and made sure that I and the rest of the family was OK. Her compassion and dedication to her patients is a gift that very few have. I have had to use hospice with both of my parents. I wish I had been educated about A-Vow Hospice when my father passed. The experience from my dad to my mom were so completely different! A-Vow Hospice is what hospice should be like! I used a large, big named hospice for my dad, not knowing better.... I will forever tell people to use this company! BECAUSE THEY ARE AMAZING! My Family used A-Vow hospice to help with my Mother. We had my mom in a nursing home In Broken Arrow that was a nightmare, A-Vow came in and turned a bad situation into a good one. They were all such a blessing. Every member of the staff was caring and professional. I truly can say that they have a true calling for this kind of work.
Working in the senior industry, I witnessed several different hospices, and there IS a difference!! Because of the care and communication that I witnessed and experienced from A-Vow, I not only fell in love with hospice and its philosophy, but I found my calling and began working in hospice myself. I have had several family members on A-Vow's services including my mother, and I can honestly say I would not choose another hospice.
My grandmother was on hospice at A-Vow. I can't say enough about the nice people and compassionate care they provide. They knew as a family we were vulnerable and treated us with nothing but kindness and respect. They were more than we expected and compared to some stories we heard about hospice (a little scary). I can say A-Vow was a real blessing. It's obvious that being a mid-size hometown hospice was exactly what we needed. Thank you to the professional staff from the Executive Director to the aides, and chaplains. You are our family!

If you choose a different hospice you would be wasting a great benefit that you have worked for your whole life. Very caring, loving, and compassionate staff. They take their job very seriously. We consider them a part of our family.
